Introduction
Have you ever wondered how Earth stays in balance ? In this webquest, you will read about the important cycles of earth such as thew water cycle and the carbon cycle and how these cycles go hand in hand in keeping life sustainable here on earth. You will learn how these are connected and how humans help them. Ultimately showing how perfect these components are to make our planet 1 of 1.
Task
This task consists of working in groups to create a narrated powerpoint presentation about one of the major cycles of Earth.
1. Research your selected cycle zand explain what you know about it and how it works.
2. Describe how your cycle connects with other cycles.
3. Explain how human activities impact the cycles and things we humans can do better to protect these cycles.
Process
1. Form groups - Divided in small groups with each group designated a cycle.
2. Research - Use resources to gather info about your cycle and specifically state on how these cycles impact humans in a positive way.
3. Plan - In your presentation highlight key points and decide who in the group will speak about what part of the presentation.
4.Create - Design powerpoint slides with clear titles, pictures and factual information.
5. Narrate - In this part, each member of the group will explain their assigned slides. Practicing for this step is important so the information smooths correctly and accuratelty.
6.Presentation - Share with the class
Evaluation
The project will be evaluated by the following (100 pts) :
(40 pts) Content- Determain whether the content is accurate and if the explanation is accurate. Also, is the content clear and does it give example of human impact.
(20pts) Presentation/Visuals - Slides are organized and visually appealing.
(10 pts) Narration - Clear and engaging, each member takes part in the project.
(20 pts) Teamwork - Work is evenly distributed among all participants.
(10 pts) Creativity and effort - presentation is engaging and effort is shown based off of visuals and content within.

At the conclusion, you learned how earth processes work such as the water cycle, rock cycle, and carbon cycle keeps our earth balanced. The choices we make today can impact keep our planet healthy.
