Environmental Conservation

Introduction

“Our planet needs heroes! You are part of a team that will create a campaign to save the environment.”

Task

“Design an eco-friendly campaign using posters, a short video, and a group presentation.”

Process

Follow the steps below to complete your task successfully. Work in groups of 4-5 members. Assign roles (researcher, writer, designer, presenter) within your group to collaborate efficiently.

Step 1: Learn About Environmental Issues

Visit the websites provided in the Resources section to read about climate change, pollution, deforestation, and waste management. Take notes as you go.

Step 2: Choose One Environmental Problem

As a group, decide on one major environmental problem you want to focus on (e.g., plastic pollution or deforestation). Research its causes, effects, and solutions.

Step 3: Create Your Campaign

Using the information you gathered, create the following:

A campaign poster (using Canva or Google Slides)

A 1-minute video message raising awareness (you can use your phone or any editing tool)

A short group presentation (5–7 minutes) explaining your topic and proposed solutions

Step 4: Practice Your Presentation

Rehearse as a group. Make sure everyone has a role during the presentation. Use clear visuals and explain your ideas confidently.

Step 5: Submit and Present

Submit your digital outputs to your teacher (or upload as instructed). Prepare to present your campaign in class or online.
