Process
Task 1
Alright my English Voyagers the waves are getting bigger and bigger. The wind is getting stronger and stronger. It is becoming too difficult to steer the ship in the direction we need to go. If we can define 5 words that have atleast 4 sylables, I believe the wind will calm down. In order to do this refer to Vocabularyskills.com. Choose any 5 words with atleast 4 sylables that apeal to you. On a piece of paper, I need you to define and give the part of speech for the words you chose. Hurry though, the wind is only getting stronger. Refer to the links below to help you chose and define these words.

Task 2
Great Job, my English Voyagers. The wind seems to have calm down. The only problem is the waves are still getting bigger. I don’t know if our ship will make it with these harsh waves crashing into our boat. I have an idea! If you choose one of the definitions you wrote to create a word web with atleast 4 synonyms to that word, the waves will stop crashing so harsh onto our ship. If we wait much longer, the ship will be destroyed. Refer to the link below to help you find synonyms for your word.
Task 3
ARGHHH!!! I smell the rain a comin’… I knew a storm was approaching. What are we to do? Let’s seee….I have an idea! Let’s use our incredible writing skills. I want my intelligent English Voyagers to create a descriptive paragraph describing a ship traveling a stormy sea. Describe the setting, problems, and how you will overcome these problems while sailing the ship. Show off how well your grammar usage and punctuation skills are! The usage of descriptive words like adjectives and adverbs is very important. Also, I want you to type this assignment and insert pictures to describe your writing. In the resources are links with pictures that could be of help! Insert at least 2-3 pictures. This will definitely prevent the storm from occurring. Hurry.. HURrry… HURRYYY!!! The link below are pictures you can use to print to describe your story.
