Let’s learn how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly!
Task
Have you ever seen a caterpillar? If so, have you ever touched one? Turn to a partner and share your experiences with caterpillars and butterflies. As I read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” aloud, look for information about the four stages of a butterfly’s life cycle and practice putting your “cycle cards” in order.
