It's Saturday morning and you are relaxing as you watch your favorite cartoons. In large, red letters at the bottom of the television screen you see flashing words 'BREAKING NEWS: CHANNEL 5 WEATHER INSTRUMENTS STOLEN! WITHOUT NEW WEATHER INSTRUMENTS THE FORECAST WILL REMAIN UNKNOWN!! ANY DONATIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED! SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THAT THIS MAY CAUSE!'

You immediately thought about yesterday's class when your teacher was talking about the importance that weather has on our lives. You remember learning how weather influences the plans you make, the way we dress, where to take vacations, and so many more aspects of our daily lives. How will people live their daily lives without knowing what the weather will be like?
On Monday when you get to school you notice how a lot of your friends are dressed in shorts and it is snowing outside. You tell your teacher and classmates how important you feel it is that your class do your part to help Ayden receive their weather forecast.
