The Ukraine Famine

Introduction

The Holodomor was a very dark time where Joseph Stalin starved the people of Ukraine. They were starved by the poisoning of crops and killing of livestock. Most people within Ukraine became cannibals in desperate need of nutrtion for survival. 

Task

For this assignment you will have to find a holodomor survivor and create a powerpoint of a minimum five slides on their trials and tribulations.  

Process

Get into groups of 4 and create a powerpoint of holodomor survivors. The groups will need two members to do the research, one to create the powerpoint, and he last to present it to the class. The presentation must last a total of 3 minutes per group.

Conclusion

The gist of this webquest is to get a feel of what a survivor feels like being in the holodomor and the aftermath of it as well. It is crucial that one discovers the struggle of being in such genocide.
