Introduction
It is a cold winter's day, and you went to the doctor for a slight cough. It turned out to be much more! The doctor diagnosed you with a condition that you had never heard of before in your life! The bad thing...you didn't understand him while he was trying to explain what it was, and he didn't have paperwork about it in the waiting room. What do you do? Search the internet of course!
Task
The director of the local medical centre has asked you to design a flyer for his patients. He has asked the flyer to contain relevant information about common medical conditions and communicable diseases from which his patients are most likely to suffer.
Process
You will be assigned a medical condition or communicable disease and you will need to conduct reasearch to create your flyer.
You will need to complete information on the following subheadings;
1. Signs- something that the doctor can see or test for.
2. Symptoms- something that the patient can feel.
3. Risk factors- Circumstances that can be personal or environmental that can impact the likelyhood of contracting a medical condition or communicable disease.
Use the below resources to help you find the information you need to complete your flyer.
