Individual Roles

Each group member must choose a role and complete the necessary tasks for each job. Keep in mind, ALL groups members are responsible for developing the script for the commercials. Try to have a slogan, or "catch phrase," to help your consumer remember your product.

You will be recording the commerical and uploading the video to the computer.   ResearcherYou will be researching tips on how to create a video commerical.  What kind of information goes into an effective video commercial? What should you include? What should you not include? ProducerYou will be in charge of editing the entire script of the commerical. You will make all final decisions.ActorYou will be responsible for delivering the "performance" in the commercials. You must convince the viewers of the commercial to purchase your product. *Cue cards can be made for the actor to read during the filming of the commercial.  Credits can be added to the end of the video.

Process

PROCESS

You must create a video commercial. Don't forget to be convincing - you must persuade consumers to buy your product! After creating a script and rehearsing, you will use the Flip cameras to record your commercial. You cannot edit the video, so you must have a great "take" and be able to use all the footage in one video. After recording, you will plug your Flip cam into the laptop and use the software from the camera to create your commercial. You must include a title slide with your product name and slogan, music, and a credit slide. Please view the example commercials below.
