Introduction
Learning to count is very important to us. From buying something to being able to count how many cookies you've made, numbers are a part of our lives. Today, you will learn to count to twenty, write the numbers (numeric and word), and also represent the number of objects for each of the numbers by creating your own personal number book.
Task
Today, you will listen to two songs on numbers.
You will also be creating your own booklet on numbers 1-20.
On each page, you will write the number, spell out the number, and using a magazine, newspaper, or some print-outs provided, you will cut out the number of objects that represents each of the numbers.

6. On each page, cut objects from the newspaper, magazines, or the internet website provided and paste the objects onto each page.
7. With a partner, go to http://www.maths-games.org/counting-games.html and choose two games to play taking turns. You will play one game, your partner will play one game, back to you playing another game, and then your partner. You may help your partner out if they ask for help!
