Introduction
Have you ever looked at a professional document and wondered how the text looks so neat, colorful, and well-organized? That’s because of text formatting tools in Microsoft Word! In this WebQuest, you will explore how to use basic formatting features such as bold, italics, underline, changing font styles, font sizes, and text color. These tools help make documents more attractive and easier to read. You will watch a video tutorial, complete a hands-on activity, and demonstrate your ability to use these tools in a real document. By the end of this WebQuest, you will be able to confidently format any text in Microsoft Word to make your writing stand out.
Task
Your task in this WebQuest is to create a well-formatted Microsoft Word document based on a topic of your choice. These tools include bold, italics, underline, font color, and font size. Before beginning the activity, you will watch a short video to learn how these formatting options work. After you complete your paragraph, you will save your document using a specific file name and submit it to your teacher for review. This activity will help you become more skilled at using Microsoft Word and give you more confidence when working on your future assignments.
