The Florida Everglades is a unique and vital ecosystem filled with rich wildlife and history.
But it is also in danger. In this Web Quest, you'll become environmental investigators,
exploring the questions:
- Why is the Everglades important?
- What are the biggest threats facing the Everglades today?
- How can we help protect it?
Learning Objectives:

- Analyze the interdependence of organisms in the Everglades.
- Identify environmental challenges facing the ecosystem.
- Propose a solution and present it to the class.

You will work in teams to create a narrated group PowerPoint or video presentation titled:
“Saving the Everglades: Our Plan to Protect Florida’s Treasure”
Each group will:
- Investigate different aspects of the Everglades
- Propose one real-world solution
- Present their findings to the class
