Introduction
This webquest aims towards the study of the Ocean Life.
It is intended for P5 and P6 students in Macau.
It hits on several standards including research and writing. Students are required to complete fact sheets and create a booklet to show what they know.
The expected time for completion of this webquest is 4 weeks, or a total of 8 sessions.
Task
Your task is to research about ocean life, its importance, life cycles, animals, and conservation of endangered species.
Process
Task 1
Complete the fact sheet about OCEAN LIFE.
Task 2
Complete the fun facts sheet about OCEAN ANIMALS
Task 3
Open the link about ENDANGERED ANIMALS, identify which ones are sea animals and choose three of them. About your chosen species, you should:
- Study them in detail by researching other websites.
- Complete the fact sheet MY ENDANGERED SPECIES for each animal.
- Think of ways to preserve the species and share your ideas using this ANSWER SHEET.
- Create one booklet for the three chosen species. Include pictures, facts, labels and any other information you might find interesting in your research. Use between 2 and 4 pages for each specie.
NB: download all files to your computer, save them and include your name and class, complete the proposed tasks and submit them by email to your teacher.
