Extention #2

Suppose you have just been hired as corporation manager and your job description includes finding the most cost productive way to have your companies product produced. After viewing the previous policy and actions of the corporation you become aware that the company uses child labor to help defer production costs. What do you do? Do you turn a deaf ear to the questions and inquiries that are sure to arise? Or should you conduct a presentation to inform the company board of the less than ethical practices the company pursues? Your job rides on this single decision. Hide the fact and you will lose you job should this child labor issue be brought to the public eye, or take a stand and possibly lose your job for pointing out the past mistakes of a Fortune 500 company. Your decision will require some background research, discussion with colleagues, and, should you chose to speak out about the production practices, a production plan that illustrates the unethical practices of child labor and how the companies product can still be made cost effectively.
