Note taking

Notes were taken from each site, and the notes show that students put thought into their discussion about the sites that were visited.

Notes were taken from most of the sites, or from all of the sites but it is not apparent that the students had a discussion about the works.

Notes were only taken from 2-3 sites that were visited and it is not clear that the students had a thoughtful conversation about the sites.

No notes were taken or only notes from one site. It is obvious that students did not any time in discussion.

Google Slide Presentation

All requirements are on the presentation. 6 pieces of literature; British, American, and World literature are shown. The genre of each work is given. At least one piece of non-fiction or one piece of fiction is shown, and at least one piece of literature written by a women is shown.

Students meets at least 3 of the requirements.

Students meet at least 2 of the requirements.

Students meet one of the requirements.

Oral Group Presentation

Students work together to present their project; students share the responsibility; students make eye contact with the class; and speak clearly.

Most students work together to present their project; students are assisting each other, attempting to speak clearly and engage with the class.

Most students are working together; but things seem disorganized and the students are not engaging the class.

Only one student is presenting the project; other students are standing off to the side; and the class is not engaged.
