¿Desayuno o almuerzo?

Introduction

By know you know that to conjugate an -AR  regular verb in the present tense, all you have to do is know your subject, remove the stem from the verb, and add the ending for the corresponding subject. That was easy do you want to know who does it work for the -ER and -IR regular verbs in the present tense? In this lesson I will dare you to complete a booklet on foods and beverages for breakfast and lunch  using the verbs COMER and COMPARTIR.

Task 

You will read, listen to and understand information about foods and beverages for breakfast and lunch. in doing so, you will hear two people talking about what they eat for breakfast and lunch. Do not worry they will repeat each word or phrase twice. You also will hear a fotohistoria about Tomás an international student in Costa Rica. ¡Buena Suerte!

a. You will hear each word or phrase twice, after the first time there will be a pause so you can pronounce it then you will hear the word or phrase a second time. Page 124 Listen now 

b.  Listen again and record what you hear.

3. Read along as you listen to the video historia Pag 126 -127. Videohistoria. Listen now 

4. After listening and reading the videohistoria complete activity # 3 tell if the sentences are true or false.  True = Cierto and False = Falso.

In other words, we will be doing on going assessment that focuses on process and results, to help me to check where you are at in terms of language ability and to give you the chance  to improve your preformance by raising your awarness on what you are  doing well and what you need to improve. Here is the rubric I will use for this task.

Once you've learned the rules of conjugation for each of the first three kinds of verbs, you should have no problem conjugating regular verbs in each of those categories and you will be speaking Spanish using your own words in no time!
