Through the course of the year we have read multiple books. For this assignment you will be researching the different types and the different genres of books you would like to read or you find interesting.
Task
The following bulletin list will direct you through your webquest. Make sure you use your academic language throughout the duration of this assignment. Non-academic language will result in half credit or zero credit.
- Go to your google docs and open a blank document. You need to set your paper up in MLA format. If you are not sure what it looks like, please click the following link. https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/13 This link will take you to owl purdue and will show you how to set up your paper in MLA format. Make sure to title your paper "Books Worth Reading"
- Make sure you are using Times New Roman 12pt font throughout the entirety of your paper.
- Once you have your paper set up, you need to begin your research. You will need to reference the genre list on the introduction page. You will end up having 3 fiction and 3 Non-fiction books. You will need 6 different genres in total.
- Your entries need to be in alphabetical order. You want to set up each entry as if it is a working bibliography. This set up is like a works cited page. - For each fiction book, you need to write the title, the author(s), what the book is about, describe the cover of the book, and why you think it will be a book worth reading. Also, what you think might potentially be bad about the book , and make sure to include where you found the book (webpage).
- For each non-fiction book, you need to write the title, the author(s), why is this text significant, describe the cover of the book, what is the text about, why do you think the book is a book worth reading. Also, what you think might potentially be bad about the book, and make sure to include where you found the book (webpage).

- Look over your list and be prepared to share at least 1-2 fiction and 1-2 Non-fiction with the class. Sharing is part of your grade for this assignment.
- After you have shared your assignment, you will turn it into the appropriate assignment section in google classroom. If your assignment is not turned into google classroom, you will receive a zero or half credit if turned in late. DO NOT EMAIL ME YOUR ASSIGNMENT. 5 POINTS will be deducted for emailing me your assignment unless otherwise instructed.
