Greetings Researchers!
Throughout the week you will be showing off your research skills! In order to do this, you must collect factual information from a variety of sources and be able to cite your sources.You will need to utalize what you have learned this year in order to write a research paper on an important figure in history. To begin your research for the project click "Task 1"
Task
Step 1: To begin, decide on a an important figure that you would like to complete your research on.
These are your choices:
Pocohontas

Benjamin Franklin
You will then research important aspect of this persons life. Aspects I would like you to include:
Important Contributions:"Something that you do that helps to achieve something or make it successful. Example: Inventions
Life Events: Birthday, year of death, past education, there they were born, what did they do ect...
Step 2: Collect information about your person using encloypedia, Internet, and books. When you have found something you would like to use for your research paper, write it down on an index card. Dont forget to include a citation. To complete the citiation, use the handout given to you. Write the information your handout says is important on the back for your index card. Dont worry about citing the sourse yet!
