Changing Landforms

Introduction

In this webquest, you will be watching videos to discover more about how our earth can change slowly or quickly.

Task

Click on the video links to view the videos of landforms that can change slowly or quickly because of different events taking place on the earth.

Use the information from the two videos to answer the questions on your paper.

  9.  In the stream video, did the change happen slowly or quickly? ____________________________________________________________

    How do you know? ____________________________________________________________

  10. In the volcano video, did the change happen slowly or quickly? ____________________________________________________________

Conclusion

In conclusion, earths changes can happen quickly, like during an earthquake or volcano, or slowly, like a stream running across rocks. During these events, landforms are changing. Sometimes we see the change happen before our eyes, and sometimes it occurs so slowly that we don't even notice a change has occurred.
