Introduction

For this assignment, 6th-grade students will practice comprehension skills while reading short texts and analyzing them with a graphic organizer. 

Task

Read "The Monkey's Paw" by W.W. Jacobs and analyze your thoughts on the initial reading.

Conclusion

Students should be able to have a thorough discussion about the story "The Monkey's Paw," as well as gain comprehension skills by using graphic organizers and answering guided questions on the text.
