Well, today is your chance to show your city! You and your friends are going to make a presentation about Madrid!

Task
Your task is to make a presentation to show Madrid to the rest of the class.
- Find information aobut the situation of Madrid in a map of Spain.
- Find information about Madrid's weather in this season of the year (these days in winter).
- Find information about Madrid's population.
- Find information about three museums to visit! (where they are and how much is a ticket)
- Find information about four sights to visit! (where they are and what you can see or know about them)
- Find information about three events! (where they are, how much is a ticket and what can you see in the event)
- Find information about three activities you can do in Madrid! (sports, friends, activities)
- Find important people born in Madrid.
Create a document (Power Point presentation). At the end you will have to present your plans to the class! So be creative!
Process
Before you start! Here are some important things you need to know about how to work with this WebQuest:
First:
Get into groups of three! You have 2 lessons to plan a Madrid presentation. In the third lesson you will present it to the class. Each presentation will take about 5 minutes.
Second:
Discuss the structure of the presentation with your partners (introduction, body, conclusion)
Get information for you presentation (maps, places, pictures,...)
Use a Word document to write down all the places that you will include in the presentation
