Introduction

Project: Genocide Museum
Genocide is the murder of an entire ethnic group. It is the systematic killing of all the people from a national, ethnic, or religious group, or an attempt to do this. When most of us hear the word "genocide" we only think of The Holocaust. Some of us may not be aware of the countless other horrific genocides that have been made part of our world's history. Using this webquest, you will work in groups to research 6 different genocides that are rarely ever spoken of.
Australian
Guatemalan
Cambodian
Rwandan
Darfur
Armenian
After the groups compile all of the necessary research, they will create a final display or exhibit for the museum.

Evaluation

The evaluation will consisit of a final display or exhibit for a "museum" on campus. A rubric will be given in class, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
- each role must be evident in display
- creative and dynamic display
- display reflects culture of region
- informational handout
- 60 second speech
