This WebQuest will teach you the two types of congruent theorems for finding if two triangles are similar with Side-Angle-Side and Side-Side-Side. It will show you how solve and identify congruent triangles.
Geomety Rules!!
This WebQuest will help you understand the two congruent theorems for finding if two triangles are congruent with Side-Side-Side and Side-Angle-Side.
When two triangles are congruent, there are 6 facts that are true about the triangles:
1. You will review the two theorems SSS and SAS
2. You will then solve the problems and identify if they are congruent based on the theorem given.
3. Once you have completed the problems, do not guess. If you get one wrong continue. Send me an email of your score.
4. When you are done go back and review the once you got incorrect. Send me an email of the correct ones with an explanation of how you corrected your mistake.
1. Review two of the congruent theorems from the following site. Copy and paste in the web browser.
http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/geometry/gp4/ltriangles.htm
2. Answer the following congruent triangles, tell which triangle is congruent to which and state if it is SSS or SAS. Copy and paste in the web browser.

This is how you will be graded:

Now that you have completed the WebQuest, you should have a much better understanding of the Congruent Theorem its use and how to see if triangles are similar.
