Introduction

Who are the great minds that made science what is it today? Where would we be without them? That is what we will be exploring in this project.

  1. What is a scientist?
  2. Who were they?
  3. What were their scientific achievement(s)?
  4. How does that achievement(s) impact us today?
  5. What would our lives be like today without their achievement(s)?

Keep these questions in mind as you are completing your research, as they will all need to be addressed in your PowerPoint.

The Presentation of your PowerPoint must be a minimum of 8 minutes.

Each group can only choose one individual to research, and every group will have a different individual. When your group picks the person, you would like to do research, you need to report it to the teacher, choices will be unavailable after a group picks them so don't take too long deciding or you may not get the individual you want to research.
