The 1996 Summer Olympics

Introduction

The 1996 summer olympics were held in Atlanta, Georgia. The U.S won a total of 101 medals, 44 gold, 32 silver, and 25 bronze. The U.S won by a big lead with Russia in second place, but they were far behind us. It was a good Olympics for the U.S, but not so good for other countries though.

Part 1:

The first assignment is to complete the words search about the olympics in 1996.

Research an event from the Olympics and write two paragraphs about it.

Write a paragraph about an athlete that inspires you. Also draw a picture.

Write two paragraphs about your favorite event. You need to site your sources in proper MLA format. Also, you paragraphs need to include why this is you favorite event, the top three medalists in the event, and any interesting facts about the 1996 Olympics games.

Write one paragraph about an athlete that inspires you. Explain why this athlete inspires you and what event they participated in.
