Introduction
You and some friends have decided to travel to London for the day on Saturday. Your train arrives at Viktoria Station at 10.20, and your train home leaves at 17.35. You have just over seven hours in one of the world's most interesting cities.
Task
You are going to plan your day out in London. You want to see at least three of the most famous landmarks, eg. Buckingham Palace; visit one big museum; and do some shopping. Remember, you can walk around the centre of London, but if you want to visit things outside the centre, you need to take the Underground. Your pla should include how much money you will need. Most national museums are free; other tourist attractions charge for entry.
Process
Use the resources to plan your time in London. You don't need to have an exact timetable. Do not forget you need time to get from one place to another, whether you walk or use the Underground. You are taking a packed lunch, so you do not need to research restaurants, but you need to decide on a good place to sit and eat your sandwiches.

Evaluation
You need to have a well-organized day. Do not try to include too much in your seven hours. Think carefully about how to explain your day and why you want to visit the places on your plan. When you are presenting your plan, do not forget that your visit is in the future.
Conclusion
You now know more about what to do in London. You have also practised talking about future plans.
