Introduction

In this assignment you will learn the importance of conservation of trees and the benefits they provide for our daily lives. Through research and evaluation one will discover how trees benefit an individual personally and what we can do to raise awareness for protection and planting of trees.

Task

You will be working in small groups to create murals of places you are familiar with. After making those murals you will also make pictures with trees and discuss which areas you would rather spend time in. These murals will be displaced throughout the classroom.

Process

1. split up into assigned group and instructor will give you an area to draw.

2. Draw your first image and do not include trees or bushes in the picture.

3. Now draw the same area but include as many trees and or bushes as you would like.

4. The class will discuss as a whole which places you would rather be.

5. Your instructor will then discuss the benefits of trees and why as a society we need to work on conservation of trees. Your group will then be required to research and make a list of 5 benefits of trees, 5 ways to promote conservation, and 5 reasons why.

6. Decide as a group how you will present this in class a few options are
