Career Exploration

Introduction

You're in middle school!  Do you think that it is too early to start planning for a career?

The answer is NO!!!

Middle School happens to be the perfect time for you to begin this process even though the future seems so distant.  Relax, it's not as hard as you might think.  So, what do you think you might want to be?

A Doctor? A musician?  A professional athlete?  A teacher? A manager of a store?

The purpose of this WebQuest is to help you explore your interests.  Hopefully you will take the time to find something that not only suits your personality and skills, but a career that you LOVE!

Task

What do you think you might like to be when you get out of school?  At this time in your life, you can start making plans to be anything that you want to be.

Conclusion

Congratulations on completing your Career Exploration WebQuest!

Perhaps you've discovered your dream job, opening doors to your future that you never knew existed . . . or maybe you've actually eliminated a job possiblity that you always thought was for you.  Maybe neither of these scenarios apply to you, because you've never even thought about life after high school. . . .

At any rate, I hope that you enjoyed learning about careers that interest you.  You should now have a good plan of action in reaching your career goals.  The more you know about yourself and about  the possiblities out there, the more in control you are of your future.

Please continue to explore!
