Lexington and Concord 1775: The battle that started on April 19th, 1775 and was the start of the Revolutionary War was a major battle in the War. They had been forwarned by Paul Revere, the British were coming to Concord with many troops heading over there and the colonists were alerted. Many British were injured in the war and so were many Americans. the Battles of lexington and Concord happened at Concord and many historic sites are there in memory of this battle. There are many historic sites located where this first battle happened and many museums located there.

Battle of Bunker Hill: The battle had occured on June 16th, 1775 when the bristish had no choice to attack the Americans and that day, the Amercians were forced to withdraw and lost thta day because they had no more ammunition and could not fight back so they surrendered. Bunker Hill was owned by the British now but they still had lost almost 1,500 men in total. Now you can visit the bunker hill museum located at Charlestown, Ma. That day was not an easy victory for britain as they lost many.

Battle of New York: On July 3, 1776 British Troops landed on Starten island. The British had set forth to subdue the colonies. They had to regain New York back. Washington was droven off Long Island and retreated to New jersey after the British had taken over. There have been many historic sites and theyprotect in the Long Island area on New York but this was an important battle.

Battle of Yorktown: The Battle of Yorktown on October 1781 and was an important battle and it was also the last battle of the war. George Washington had allied with the french and then had defeated the British who were led by Cornwallis. The British were shocked and could not believe that they would lose the war. Today Yorktown, Virginia is a historical site and part of the triangle.
