Technology, Past, Present, and Future

Introduction

Over the years, the amount of technology we use has increased and we are becoming more and more reliant  devices. But how did all this happen? What caused this? That’s what the purpose of this lesson is. We are going to observe the evolution of technology.

Task

Your task is to research at least three devices from past then another three for the present and a final three for the future. These must be items you believe have, or will have an impact of the way we live today, or will live in 

the future.

Process

You will chose three devices for each category. Past, present, and future. You will the answer these questions.

  •  Name of item
  • When was it invented?

 

  • Who made it?

 

  • What impact did it have?

 

  • Who was the targeted audience?

 

  • How much was it?

For example:

The Ipod was invented in 2001

  • . It was created by Steve Jobs, founder of Apple. The Ipod had a huge impact because before it, people had walkmans and portable CD players. When a device about the size of a pocket and could hold thousands of songs, people were ecstatic and that was one of the biggest triumphs of Apple. It was geared to all people who love music. It cost about $99 when first released.

     That's one.

Second choose the item you think has had the biggest impact on society and write a 5 paragraph essay about it.

Lastly, research one specific item and write about the company. Specifically the beginnings and the trial and errors.
