Research and Poster Project
You will be researching one of the gods, goddesses, or pharaohs of Ancient Egypt and then creating a product to display your research. You will be given 2 class periods to conduct online research. More research and creation of the product will be done OUTSIDE of school. You will have 12 days, including Christmas Break, to complete this project.

Task
Using the following websites and books provided in Mrs. Bennett's classroom, you will complete the research information required for this project prior to creating the product of your research.

Process
A deity worshipped in Ancient Egypt
1. Name/ Names
2. Description and Picture
3. Symbols of that deity
4. Relationships to other Egyptian deities
5. City of origin or place where worship was started
6. Practices for worshipping this deity /Ways they were worshipped
7. Myth about that deity or a myth in which that deity is an important
character.
Students will be required to produce a product (presentation) that includes all of the information from above. Presentations will be graded with the rubric found on the Evaluation page.
Students' presentations can be in any of the formats below but are not
limited to these formats. Guidelines for presentation are that presentations must be easy to read and see from all locations in the class.
