Introduction
What is a Ghost?
The starting point of this kind of discussion requires definitions. We can define ghosts as having three main characteristics: (1) they are not alive; (2) they are not in this world; and (3) they can somehow interact with our world.
From the conscientiology perspective, a ghost is a consciousness like us, however a consciousness without a physical body. In other words, a ghost is a consciousness in the period between one life and the next, a person that died and is not born yet into the next physical body.
In that sense, spirits, souls are also consciousnesses or “people”. The key difference between them and us is that we have a physical body.
Ghosts are in another place compared to us. This “place” has received many names throughout history: the other side, astral plane, heaven, and so on. We know that this place is beyond the dimension that we live in, so the technical name I will use for this place is an extraphysical dimension.
So, are ghosts real or not? Yes, ghosts are the native (and temporary) inhabitants of the extraphysical dimension. Because they are consciousnesses like us, we call them “extraphysical consciousnesses”.
Ghosts are between one life and the next, in the period that we call “intermissive”. Ghosts, or extraphysical consciousnesses, can be more or less aware (lucid) of the fact that they are no longer alive.
Task
Let us assume that God exists.
According to theists, God is omni-present and God is seen as Positive belief. When we speak about something in terms of Positive, then there should be negative things too. So now let us assume Ghost exists.
We also have things that are neither Positive nor Negative, i.e neutral, But in case of God and Ghost, we do not have anything intermediate to be in neutral state.
So In order to be in balanced state, If God is Omni-present and so theGhost is also Omni-present, but no theist says it, they only say God is everywhere, ignoring the Ghost part which clearly proves that God is a marketing term for any particular religion.
DEAD PEOPLE
The traditional view of ghosts is that they are the spirits of dead people that for some reason are "stuck" between this plane of existence and the next, often as a result of some tragedy or trauma. Many ghost hunters and psychics believe that such earth-bound spirits don't know they are dead. Veteran ghost hunter Hans Holzer wrote, "A ghost is a human being who has passed out of the physical body, usually in a traumatic state and is not aware usually of his true condition. We are all spirits encased in a physical body. At the time of passing, our spirit body continues into the next dimension. A ghost, on the other hand, due to trauma, is stuck in our physical world and needs to be released to go on."
Also known as "intelligent hauntings," these ghosts exist in a kind of limbo state in which they haunt the scenes of their deaths or locations that were pleasant to them in life. Very often, these types of ghosts are able to interact with the living. They are, on some level, aware of the living and react to being seen on the occasions that they materialize. Some psychics claim to be able to communicate with them. And when they do, they often try to help these spirits to understand that they are dead and to move on to the next stage of their existence.

Conclusion
I admit I have never come in direct contact with a ghost. Some say fear may summon. My babysitter used to tell me scary ghost stories and I would hear stories and i'd be terrified. Every night I would be scared(Terrified). Eventually I grew up and I don't fear it anymore but I really don't think fear brings them on, just maybe if they exist there it may strengthen them.

I guess I should say I don't know if I believe it ghosts or if it's a mental disorder, but the overwhelming evidence but prove they exist on a certain level.
I think ghosts arn't actually conscious but think of it more as a memory. You're not actually there, but you see what happens and you don't control yourself. Who knows, a ghost may not actually have anything to do with the previous being, but just be there, for no reason at all. No I cannot explain why, nobody can.
