Introduction
In this webquest you will explore how Mexican culture has changed in the last generation.
What changes can you find in styles of dress?5 years. It’s to say, what are the changes you can see between your generation now compared with your parents’ generation.
- In entertainment and other hobbies?
- In sports and other activities?
- In relationships and marriage?
- In the use of technology?
What else?
Task
You will explore online websites looking for images and texts related to 
Mexican culture as it was 25 years ago, as well as, images and texts that express Mexican culture nowadays.
- Product: create a professional quality PowerPoint utilizing all
- the images and information you find online to make comparisons.
- You must note ALL the websites you use in your presentation and reference these websites during your presentation.
- Write a one page conclusion summarizing your investigation and elaborating on the most important differences you found between the two generations.
Process
Follow these steps to insure success:
- Think about and write down some search terms to look for texts and images
- Use Google normal to search for text. Example: "Mexican culture in the 1970s/1980s" "Mexican culture nowadays". Think of specific ways to search about fashion, food, or other aspects of your culture.
- Use Google Images to search for photos and other images to use in your PowerPoint presentation. Example: Mexican fashion 1970s/ today
- Focus on just 2 areas of Mexican culture in your PowerPoint presentation
- Prepare an Introduction highlighting what you will talk about.
- Prepare a conclusion summarizing 2 or 3 points.
