Hello my wonderful children! This webquest is going to take you on a journey of learning about Washington DC. You will discover tons of interesting facts and learn lots of useful information that will make our family trip to Washington DC this summer that much more exciting for you. HAVE FUN EXPLORING! Task
Each week we will learn about an important aspect of Washington DC. Monday through Friday of the week, take a little time each day to explore the websites I provide for you, and collect information to create a weekly presentation that you will share with the family.

Process
At the beginning of the week, I will have a new webquest for you with all of the information you will need. You will get to select the way you want to present what you learn to the family. I can help you come up with ideas--you can create a book, write a paragraph summary, make a Powerpoint presentation, act out a play, make a video, etc, etc! 
Evaluation
Our objective is to keep our brains active in the summer, learn about Washington DC so we can appreciate it more when we go there, and have fun sharing what we learned with our family! All we ask is that you take a little time each day and always give your very best effort.
