Introduction

The pupils are learning about the time and the activities they do at certain times.

Task

The pupils have to link the time to the activity. They then have to write a short passage using the language and activities in the pictures.

•D’ith mé mo bhricfeasta ar a•D’imir mé ar a•Bhí mé ag dul abhaile ar a•Bhí mé ag súgradh  ar a:

Process

The pupil will match the picture to the time and the activity. When they have all the information, they can then write a short passage to map out their day.

Evaluation

This was a good activity. It can be used with individuals, pairs or groups. This then creates an element of competition, which helps a lesson. This type of lesson gives many pupils a chance, depending on the number of activities. With a  short introduction, the activity can begin fairly quickly.

Conclusion

This becomes one of many resources to be used by the teacher. It can be added to, meaning a range of year groups can use it. It can suit a range of pupils, whether as a group or individuals. The pupils are then included and have more involvement to maintain their interest.
