1. Titanic Timeline
(20 points- Review Rubric under Evaluation section)
Using the internet, you and your partner will search for websites that walk through the timeline of events around the Titanic. This timeline would perhaps take the audience through the hours leading up the sinking of the ship and events unfolding during its sinking.
- Use the link below to get you started BUT make sure you try your own searches for unique viewpoints of the unfolding events using Google. I don't want everyone's timeline to look the same! Find some interesting tidbits about those hours around the Titanic setting sail, the fear of the passengers, and the sinking of the Titanic! What about the time after the sinking? What happened in those days, weeks and even years after the sinking?
- Assign one partner to take notes and write down details you want to highlight.

- Now that you have the events lined up, use the interactive Timeline Tool to create your own on-line Titanic Timeline. Work together to organize the timeline. Go to the following link, and see me about setting up your own account to use this free tool.

- When you have your timeline created, be sure to write down the link so we can access it and share with class!
2. Classes aboard the Titanic and other interesting facts
(10 points- Review Rubric under Evaluation section)
Work with your partner: Using the links above to get your search started, research the different classes on the Titanic. Journal your findings in your Social Studies notebook.
I am looking for 4 facts about the classes on board. Be sure to distinguish what special privileges different classes had while aboard the ship. You will share with the class.
Can you find information about treatment of the lower class as the ship was going down?
3. Create a Prezi slide presentation
(20 points- Review Rubric under Evaluation section)
Use prezi.com to make a presentation. Work with your partner.
First you will need to create your own Prezi.com account. Remember your password!
Then, begin building your own presentation about the Titanic. Include:
- Pictures
- Facts
- Find an interesting video and insert a video link to your prezi
- Discuss what pieces each partner will present to the class.
