Roll of Thunder Research Topics

Introduction

Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry Research WebQuest

Welcome! For this WebQuest, you will need to be sitting with your assigned group and you will need: a pencil, a piece of paper.

Task

Your Task:

With your group, find the section for your topic. In that section, you will find several links to assist you as you begin to research our topic. Remember, this is just a starting point - you are free to look for more information as long as it is relevant.

Find enough information on your given topic to not only create a thoughtful and information-filled poster, but to also give a presentation as to teach your fellow classmates. The better your presentation is, the better the entire class understands the context of the novel Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.

Remember, during this time you must be doing research into your topic, taking notes, or discussing the information you have found with your classmates. If I catch you off-task, I will remove participation points from you and final project points from your entire group (remember, my computer can see what every computer is doing).

Hint: I reccomend assigning different links to different group members, doing the research, and coming back together to share the notes you took.
