Introduction
It is the beginning of December and Christmas will be here soon. You have been saving your money all year in the hopes of buying everyone living in your house the perfect Christmas present. You were able to save $200 to spend on your family. Now you must decide how to spend it.

Task
Your task is to set up a budget for your Christmas shopping trip.
You must make 3 decisions:
1. How much money you will spend on each person?
2. What do you think you want to buy each person?
3. What stores will you be shopping at?

Process
Step 1
You will use Word or Excel to create a budget worksheet. You will take the $200 you have saved and create a budget (Part A of Worksheet is an example of what it should look like) showing how much money you PLAN to spend for each person living in your house and at least 3-4 ideas for each member of your family. You will not be shopping for yourself so do not include yourself in your Budget Worksheet A.
Step 2
Then you are to use the resources provided to "go shopping". Remember you must try to stay within your $200 limit and you can buy what you would like as long as you get at least one thing for each person living in your household.
Step 3
As you are shopping you will need to go back to your worksheet and create a Part B (example part B Worksheet) and write down what you bought each person, what it cost and where you bought each item.
Step 4
After you have all your shopping done, you have documented what you spent and where you spent it at, you need to figure out if you stuck to your budget. (Part C of Worksheet).
Step 5
Finally, you will get to create a Power Point presentation that will tell everyone in class how you spent your money. Please include in your presentation the following FIVE slides:
Slide 1- Title slide with your name
Slide 2- Tell who you shopped for, including their name, and what you bought for them
Slide 3- Tell how much you spent overall and how much you have left.
Slide 4- Tell what was easy about this project and what was hard.
Slide 5- List all the concepts you think you learned or used during this project.
