Introduction
The rainforest is home to some of the rarest animals in the world, most of which can only be found in the rainforest. Some are dangerous while others are completely harmless to humans. The rainforest contains a multitude of birds, mammals, arthropods, amphibians, and reptiles. They all look and behave in different ways despite living in the same place.

Task
Your task as students will be to try and identify the various animals of the rainforest and pick and choose which you think belong and which do not. Try and remember what climate the rainforest has and other types of animals that reside there. Once we have decided which animals belong in the rainforest, each student will pick one animal off the list and research it then give a small presentation to the class on your animal.

Process
1. You will be given a list of different animals
2. You will need to read the descriptions and decide if you think they belong in the rainforest or not
3. Each person will pick one animal off the list and do some research about it. You should be looking for the following things:
- Which class they belong to (birds, mammals, arthropods, etc)
- Size
- Eating habits
- Behavioral activity
- Life span
4. Give a small presentation to the class
