Introduction
I grow vegetables because I am always inspired to see a tiny seed grow into a tasty fresh veggie and I love to eat them too. My favourites are just picked shelling peas, green beans, corn on the cob and fresh crispy salad greens

Task
- You should come up with new words that are associated with the garden.
- You should associate what you see and come up with ideas on how to do your own vegetable garden
- You should follow all the steps on making own vegetable garden until you get to the time vegetables are ready to be eaten.
- You should be able to find own information using the resources given
Process
Group 1
Take the topic “vegetable garden” comes up with the words associated with the topic. Let the group do discussion about what they know about the garden, bringing all the information into a mind map. By looking at the picture you can come up with new vocabulary
Group 2
Give them the topic and ask them questions to lead them towards the information needed on Mind Map e.g. Do you have a garden where you live? What kind of garden? Give food groups that we get from the garden. Classify fruit according to their groups. Which season is friendly to our gardens?
Group 3
Find the pictures that will lead us to making our own vegetable garden. Follow all the necessary steps on starting a garden. Use the resources given at the bottom to get more information.
