Introduction
Neurofibromatosis is a neurological disorder that affects everyone different.
Task
You're in med school and learning about different Neurological disorders. You and your classmates have been selected to present on a topic of the three forms of Neurofibromatosis at an upcoming conference for families of children with disabilities. Some of these families are new to the topic so you need to make sure you are providing clear and concise information. The use of big medical terminology is not helpful unless it can explained so anyone can understand the topic and the information you are porviding. It should be presented in a powerpoint or table format with pictures provided.
Process
*Research the three forms of Neurofibromatosis: Neurofibromatosis type 1, Neurofibromatosis type 2 and Schwannomatosis.
*For each type you need to provide the characteristics, complications and the types of treatment available that may help someone with this disorder.
*Research should be presented in a table or powerpoint format and must include picutres.
*Provide additional resources that can be made available to the families where they can get help.
*Use the resources as guides to help you with approriate information to use in your presentation
*Remember it is for families of children with disabilities so non-medical personal. Make sure anyone can understand the information. Keep it simple and informative.

2. Listing/explaining the complications of the three forms of Neurofibromatosis
3. Listing/explaining the treatment of the three forms of Neurofibromatosis
4. Providing pictures
5. How well/clear the information is presented
6. Additional resources made available to thr families to recieve help
7. Your overall understanding of the disorder itself
Conclusion
After completing this activity students will gain a better knowledge on Neurofibromatosis. They will learn how to take complicated information and place it together in a clear and concise way that anyone, even someone with no background knowledge can understand and learn.
