Introduction

Cinema is the most popular kind of activity. During our lives we go to the cinema hundreds times and watch hundreds of films.This webquest is great possibility to study everything about cinema in England: famous actors, the most popular films, plan of the cinema house.
 
   
Task

You will have different tasks:

1.The first is to prepare the list of the most popular cinemas in England. Tell us about its history, number of seats, location and interesting facts. You can see here some examples:

2. The second task is to make presentation about genres of film. In your presentation say about its particular features, the most popular films in these genres. There are the main film genres:

3. The thrird is to learn the structure of making annotation and create a scheme "How to make an annotation". Here you can see some examples of annotation:

4. The fourth is to create a plan of the cinema. Select location of the dressing room, foyer, box-offices, cinema halls and etc. Look some examples of plans of the cinema:

Process

This webquest hepls you to prepare yourself to role-playing game which will be taken place 25th december.

For it you should divide your class on 4 groups: critics, cinema goers, architectors, art experts. Art experts should do the first task, cinema goers should do the second, the third task is for critics and the fourth for architectors.

You have a month for doing your tasks. Learn the information which I gave you and find your own. 

Your work can be presented in different forms: presentation, report, poster, scheme, table, etc.
