Introduction
In Ancient Egypt, many aspects of everyday life we influenced by the Gods and Goddesses that the people believed in. To better understand their culture, we have to look and see what influenced them and why.
Task
Each student must pick a God or Goddess to study and okay it with the teacher. Once this is done, you will make a short Powerpoint presentation that will be presented to the class.
Process
Each student will use this website (http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk/gods/explore/main.html) to pick out which God or Goddess that they will research. Other websites may be used to collect information as long as the end in .org or .edu. -NO WIKIPEDIA-
Each student must know the following about their topic:
-Name
- What they looked like (with a picture)
-What they represent/are the God of
-How the people worshipped them
- One major story about them

Evaluation
The entire assignment is worth 50 points
-Grammatical Structure

-Sources/Bibliography
-You will need at least three sources
- Organization
-Final Presentation
Each of these categories is worth ten points.
Conclusion
We will be drawing numbers to see when each person will present. Numbers can be exchanged one time but after that I will be recording who has what number and when they will be going. Projects will be presented December 8 and 9.
