Task
First, you and your partner will re-read and summarize
"The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell.
You will now choose 5 strong vocabulary words, adding them to the vocabulary words from our lesson. Highlight the 5 new vocabulary words and define each of them using internet resources.
Then, you will write a new ending to the story using the vocabulary words from the lesson and the words you chose!
The goal is for you to understand the vocabulary words and how to use them in meaningful sentences.
Process
Step One: Re-read "The Most Dangerous Game" out loud with your partner.
Step Two: In a Word doc, create a summary 6-8 sentences in length of the story.
Step Three: Under the summary, list 5 chosen vocab words, highlighting and defining each using an online dictionary.
Step Four: Brainstorm ideas with your partner of how the story could end alternatively, then create an alternate ending using 4 of the vocabulary words.
Evaluation
You will be scored based on 3 components for this webquest:
1. How well you participate in your group
2. The completion of each task
3. The creativity of your story
