Hain 5th Grade Weather WebQuest

Hello Meteorologists!

     You have been invited by the National Weather Service to try out for a spot on their junior meteorologist team! In order to try out you will need to utilize what you have learned so far this quarter as well as research from this web quest to put together a presentation on the weather trends for a city of your choice.

To begin your webquest, click on "TASK".

  • To begin, decide on a city that you would like to complete your research on.  You will then write down to weather for this city for the next five days.   http://www.weather.com.
  • Use the table handed out to help you organize your information.

Now that you have your data as well as information regarding where your city is located and the season that it is experiencing, it is time to create your presentation for the National Weather Service. You have a number of choices of how you put together your presentation.

You may choose from the following to present:

~ Write a Script for what a meterorolgist would say on a weather show

~ Google Slides
