FINDING MY INTELLENGENCE

Multiple intelligences is a theory developed by Howard Gardner back in the 1980s. The theory supports the idea that instructing and learning are complicated processes. Each student is wired with different interests, strengths, and weaknesses. Gardner's theory helps explain how learners process information. He identified at least eight types of intelligences, which I'll bet you've heard before:

Eight Types of Intelligences
  1. Verbal-linguistic (word smart)
  2. Logical-mathematical (reasoning smart)
  3. Bodily-kinesthetic (body smart)
  4. Interpersonal (people smart)
  5. Intrapersonal (self smart)
  6. Visual-spatial (picture smart)
  7. Musical (music smart)
  8. Naturalistic (nature smart)
