Task

Your task is to develop an creative idea for your own business. You will then write a business plan, and prepare a professional business plan presentation. Your final products will be the written plan and the presentation.

Your business plan will include the following sections:

  1. Cover Page (includes business logo and slogan/ tagline)
  2. Executive Summary
  3. Product or Service Description
  4. Market Landscape
  5. Operational Plan
  6. Sales and Marketing Plan
  7. Financial Plan
  8. Appendices

Process

The following link provides you with a step-by-step plan for creating your business plan. Each section contains examples, resources, and other useful information for creating your business plan. You will need to interject your own information into each section. 

After you open your Word document make sure you save it several times and before the end of class ensure that you email it to yourself. We will continue working on this assignment over the next few days. 

After you have completed your business plan you will present it to the instructor and the board of directors (students) in an attempt to gain investors.
