Hi! You're a travel agent now! You have to convince your English teacher where to travel these holidays! You can choose one from these four USA destinations: San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Boston.

Task
You will design a travel brochure for the destination chosen. The travel brochure must be attractive, convincing and include the information listed below. You will prove your city to be the very best destination to travel. Each group will prepare a Power Point travel brochure and an oral presentation. You will have to sell your city!
Process
Step 1: Select the members of your group.
Step 2: Select a city.
Step 3: Find out about your chosen city in the following websites:

Step 4: You must include the following items:
- Arts / Museums
- 1 outdoor activity
- 1 traditional monument or building
- 1 historical fact of the city
- 1 river itinerary
- 3 traditional food or restaurants which do not offer pizza
- Al least one visual for each item, no more than three
Please include:
- An attractive opening and a convincing ending so that your city is chosen as the destination.
Step 5: You must be ready to present your city orally in class.
Step 6: Your teacher will choose the best promoted city for her holidays!
Evaluation
Each team member will be graded regarding:
- Effectiveness of brochure: Did you convince your teacher to travel to the city?
- Attractiveness of brochure (visuals, layout, font choices etc)
- Are all the items included?
- Are the contents accurate?
- Spelling and grammar in the Power Point presentation.
- Degree of fluency in the oral presentation.
