The history of the British Isles is fascinating. From its origins to the present time, it has witnessed battles, wars, even a King who had 6 wives. History is useful to understand the past and it guides you towards the future. Are you willing to start this adventure? Activity 2. Famous people

Go to http://projectbritain.com/famous_people.htm; Make groups of three. Find one King or Queen, one writer, and one politician. After reading his/her biography, each of you will have to play the role of the selected person as faithfully as you can in front of the class. Imagine you are having a conversation. Example: one of you is Shakespeare, another one is Henry VI and the other is David Cameron. Try to make it as funny as possible! Then, the class will have to choose the best representation :)
