Introduction
The Philippine Islands were discovered by Magellen in 1521, and claimed by Spain. The first successful settlements were made in 1565. Although the Spanish rulers did not generally mix with the local populace, the Spanish language, religion and customs were imposed on the Filipinos.
Task
I would use the lesson of history to educate others about avoiding the same mistakes and fighting for their rights just like our heroes did. Since history does not repeat itself but rather the countrymen do.
As a Filipino, the lessons of history can be used in various ways to shape the present and the future. Understanding the struggles and triumphs of the Filipino people throughout history can inspire a sense of resilience, unity, and pride. It can also serve as a reminder of the importance of upholding democratic values, fighting for social justice, and preserving cultural heritage.

2.What does a historian do? As a student of history, what do you think will be you duties?
3.What role does history take in the study of Philippine society, culture, and identity?
4.How did the word “history” come about? Discuss in etymology and evolution.

Evaluation
The way in which we can evaluate students is orally or in writing with different exercises, to know if they have learned what has already been taught by the teacher. They can also match the face or figure of a certain hero to his title or the works/ things he has done for the country.
Conclusion
The result is that the students learn more about Philippine history by knowing more historical figures and events.
