South African Leaders

Introduction

Dear Esteemed Scholar,

As you know, 2014 marked 20 years of Democracy in South Africa.  Part of understanding history is learning about leaders who did important things.  As an expert on South African History, you have been selected to present to President Zuma's Commission on South African Leaders. You must present, and make the case why your selected leader belongs in the Hall of South African Leaders.  Remember, history is the journey of how we got to the present, and things that happened in the past aren't always good.  Great leaders are not always good people, you may get a leader who is actually not a very good person.  Likewise, you may get someone who worked for freedom in South Africa.  No matter what, you will need to explain why your person belongs in the Hall of South African Leaders. Good luck!
